LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - A billboard that drew the ire of some for its racially charged message is coming down over the next few days in Harrison. The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports the billboard, which is along the Harrison Bypass, went up in last October and reads, "Anti-Racist is a Code Word for Anti-White." City leaders decried the billboard after it went on display along the U.S. 62/65 bypass.
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas Board of Education has approved the formation of a new school district in Jacksonville. The Democrat-Gazette reports in September, voters in Jacksonville approved splitting off from the Pulaski County Special School District to form a separate district. On Thursday, the Board of Education signed off on that plan to create the Jacksonville/North Pulaski School District.
